ARŪNAS BALTĖNAS, the member of Lithuanian Photoartists' Union since 1980, was born in 1956 Lithuania. In 1979 he graduated Vilnius University. In 1984–94 he has worked in the program of Lithuanian cultural heritage.

Arūnas Baltėnas as a photographer participated in many albums, such as "Lithuanian Folk Art", "Monuments of Lithuanian History", "The Art of Lithuanian Churches", "The Old Lithuanian Sculpture", "Wonderful Lithuania", etc.

National Museum of Lithuania in Vilnius and French National Library in Paris have bought his collections of black & white photographs about Vilnius Old Town. A lot of black & white photographs are in private collections in Poland, Germany, France, USA, Sweden, Russia, UK and other countries.

Arūnas Baltėnas prepared a big collection of various sizes black&white photographs from various places of Europe (Venezia, St. Petersbourgh, Salzburg, Vilnius, etc.) to be used in private and public interiors.
